I don't feel it's related to IRB, but here's what's going on.

I'm using a Jawbone Jambox with the 3.5mm stereo cord the iPad. Per Jawbone's instructions, if there is to much speaker distortion, you're supposed to adjust the volume or your device first, then play with the volume on the Jambox.

Well, everything was working fine for the first month. I could adjust volume on either the Jambox or the iPad. Then this week the iPad started acting quirky. I would hook up the Jambox, start the player, and have no sound. You could see the count-in and see the chords changing, but no sound, and the little volume adj graphic was not there either. The only way to get it back was to completely turn the iPad off and on again. This was frustrating because it was intermittent, and of course, I was checking wire connections and everything, trying to find a pattern. Sometimes no sound, sometimes sound but not volume control on the iPad.

When I got to the apple store it worked perfectly for the first couple of songs, but then fortunately, the sound disappeared and I was able to repeat the pattern of having to cold start to get the volume back. They gave me a brand new iPad. Last night everything worked fine.

This morning I hooked everything up, no sound. Had to turn it off. Played with it for an hour and the pattern was, if bluetooth was ON, sound, but no volume control. Bluetooth off, everything was normal.

After lunch, hooked everything up every whichway, all works fine. Any thoughts?
