Exporting MIDI and playback in a DAW

I have exported midi a couple of times and imported it into my DAW for playback and additional recording. The bass and piano parts are easy and work great but I have yet to find a VST drum that will play the drum part right. It's always the wrong sound for each hit.

Does anyone have any suggestions for one that works?

Lacking that, is there a map as to how the tool maps drum parts to notes so I can create my own?
