    Default using Bump to transfer

Any possibility to use the Bump app to quickly transfer a tune to a bandmate with an iPhone or iPod touch on a gig? The idea came up the other day when we quickly needed a tune for a singer that only I had in iRealbook. We both had Bump and iRealbook. Would have been nifty if I could have "bumped" the tune over to him.

You can take a screenshot of the chart (press Home button and the Sleep button-on the top at the same time.) This ends up as a .jpg in your Photos album on your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad. You could have then transferred via Bump as if it was a photo.
Obviously this would not have ended up in their iReal book app, but would have worked at the time quite easily.

Works like a charm! I took a screen shot of a tune, opened Bump, the other guy opened Bump, went to photos and chose the tune, deselected all but the photo of the tune being transfered, touched phones and...bingo! Too cool..

very cool. Thanks for reporting back and the instructions. I am sure others would be interested.
Tip: whoever is sending, make sure it is in the correct transposition key for them (!)
    or maybe not!!

Bump currently supports iPod touch, iPhone, iPad ... and Android phones, which should be a way for Android users to at least import additional iReal Book charts (but in jpg photo format.)

    ------------
Just as an addendum for iPod Touch/iPad (wifi only) users:
(as far as I can work out...) ... Bump needs an active wireless network to use Location services (turned on) in order to work; meaning that your unit needs to be connected wirelessly to internet at the time of Bumping.

    3G
others would use 3G of course.

Default Bump using Android - iReal b v1.1

    On Android in iReal b:
    Song View>Menu button>Share>Image>Bump
You will need Bump app open on the other device, bump, accept etc.

(obviously you have to have the Bump app installed on both devices)
