Default Sync cache location in iCloud

    Hello,

Disaster has potentially befallen me. My iPad has synced to iCloud whilst I thought I had turned the wifi off. In doing so it updated the iRealPro content to that of my desktop Mac version which was itself almost empty of content (the iPad contained the current 'master' set up).

I had not at this point backed up the iPad content so my only hope in retrieving all my work is by accessing the cache where the sync content is stored on iCloud and 'hoping' that there is a version of the contents from an hour or so ago.

Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

Alternatively, is there somewhere on the iPad where content might be cached that I can restore the content to its previous iteration?

    I could kick myself.

    Mat

Hello, did you contact us directly at support?
You had resolved this yourself luckily, by using Time machine on your Mac to recover the songs (you had trashed in preparation for a sync from your (master list of songs/playlists) on your iPad.

    Mac, Time machine

For all users, from time to time please backup your songs, iReal Pro Settings > Backup. Any device can fail, or need resetting, or be lost or damaged.
And do this before and after any major reorganization of your songs, edits, downloads, playlist preparations etc.
Even if you only have one device (Apple: Mac or iOS) running iReal Pro, you can still turn on iCloud sync in iReal Pro Settings so you have a sync file in iCloud.
