Playing parts of a tune

I can't figure out how to play just a section of a song. I can long-press on the first and last bars I want to play, but when I press play, it just starts at the beginning of the song.

Can anyone tell em what I'm doing wrong?

Don’t use the main “play” button in the player controls.
After you highlight the section you wish to loop, touch the play-icon that has appeared in the 1st bar of the section you selected.
