Extended Scale

The Extended Scale Sub-committee of the International Music Federation (Le sous-comité à grande échelle de la Fédération internationale de musique) met today (using zoom because of covid-SARS) and voted to further delay the implementation of additional musical notes for yet another year.

The highlight of the meeting was to be a demonstration and spontaneous jam session with the proposed extended musical scale and added notes. Musicians participating were disappointed with the covid-caused online format and were unable to complete the demonstration session due to the latency they experienced which adversely affected their ability to play together.
