Mac (Tempo) slider in v7

I was fooling around with making a bunch of audio m4a's and the thing sort of froze/disappeared.
I tried bring all to front and other selections in the Window Area. It quit unexpectedly .

i also took a sample with Activity Monitor if you want me to email it?
