I followed your advice and have been in contact with apple since 05-13-2014 (the day of my last post) and discovered the reason for the problem. Still no resolution.
I love iReal Pro so much I decided in 2011 to buy the iOS version as gift for my eldest son and that's where the confusion began.
I need to contact someone privately regarding the details of the case, would you please provide the correct link.
