Yes, the guys over on the logicprohelp forum will see you right.
It's wise to dedicate empty tracks for chord grids, once you've entered your first grid on to the score and selected the chord, ALT drag the grid to the next bar and double click on it to open the grid library to select the next chord. You can edit quite quickly once you've practiced a bit.
