Hello,

When I export a chord chart to XML on my MacBook Pro (macOS Sequoia 15.6.1), fermata symbols are exported as segno symbols. Here are three examples from the Jazz 1460 playlist:

Locomotion - John Coltrane
Crepuscule With Nellie - Thelonious Monk
Radio - Steve Swallow

If I export any of the above songs as XML files and open them in a text editor, I can see that every measure with a fermata symbol in iReal Pro contains a segno direction-type. If I open the file in MuseScore, a segno appears over the measure instead of a fermata.

While fermata symbols are being exported as segno symbols, it seems that segno symbols are not being exported at all. Here are three examples from the Jazz 1460 playlist:

Round Midnight - Thelonious Monk
Moanin' - Bobby Timmons
La Fiesta - Chick Corea

If I export any of the above songs as XML files and open them in a text editor, I can see that none of the measures with a segno symbol in iReal Pro contain a segno direction-type. (The Round Midnight XML file contains one segno direction-type, but it is in the measure with a fermata symbol in iReal Pro, not the measure with a segno symbol in iReal Pro). If I open the files in MuseScore, segno symbols do not appear over the relevant measures.

I'm wondering if this may be a bug? If it is not possible to export fermata symbols to XML, I think it would be preferable if the segno symbols were exported as segno symbols, and the fermata symbols were omitted, rather than exporting fermata symbols as segno symbols and omitting segno symbols.

Thank you for your help!
