That said, A Prescription for the Blues - Horace Silver is a basic 12-bar blues progression in C.

You can play over iRp’s Blues - Jazz - Exercise (included with the app)
Transposed to C. I chose Blues - Texas Rock style @~110 for its strong back-beat.
