Default How to avoid re-iteration of chords on "1"

    Hello there!

Beautiful and very useful piece of software. I use it with pleasure on MBP, iPad and iPhone.

In one song I entered yesterday, the chord rhythm is irregular. It is in 4/4, but some chords are anticipated on the 4 or 3 of the previous bar, and then held across the bar line.
In playback, however, the chord is consistently re-iterated on the subsequent beat of 1, i.e. re-introduced like a new chord, as if it was not also played just before. This is somewhat dependent on style, but always noticeable.

Any way to avoid this? Something like a tie? I tried replacing the slash on the 1 with a "N.C.", but of course that just produces a break and then the chord thunders in on the 2... :-/

Apologies if this is old hat; did not quite know how to search the Forum for this.

    Best regards, Ole

You could try to force the player-feature to behave differently by using these methods:

    http://www.irealb.com/forums/showthr...-on-half-beats
    http://www.irealb.com/forums/showthr...chopate-chords

The resulting chart could be difficult to follow in performance.
