    Question Inserting an intro

    Hello,
We usually start a tune by playing the last 4 or last 8 bars of the song.
How can I copy, paste and insert those 4 or 8 bars at the beginning of the lead sheet?
    Thanks for any help!

Try emailing the song to the editor, then copy and paste those bars to where you want them.

    (Thanks Diatonic.)

Information on how to transfer to either the web editor or mac editor here:
    http://irealbook.net/
    Help>iOS>Transfers

If you use our web editor, you can Paste-Insert which moves the existing bars along. (You do not need to make space for it first.)

If you are using iReal book itself (this is slower but useful if you are not near your computer) you have to Insert beat (a few times!) at the beginning of the chart. (Symbols>Insert beat.) There is no copy/paste, so you just put in the chords manually. (currently v3)

If you have many to do, put them into a playlist then transfer (email) the playlist to either the web (or mac editor) to do this, then send the playlist back. (BTW there is currently no Paste-insert in the Mac editor as at v0.6.4, but Paste is available.)
