playing along on a gig

if i want to use the ireal pro on a gig i need someway of stopping the playback or better yet, fading it out. is there any device that will do this for my ipad?

nothing for automating fades, but for stopping you can use Airturn. Here is a thread (but you can run a search for more posts on it):

It will make playback stop just as if you tapped a stop, so you would have to time it accurately if it is still playing.
