Default Thread for discussion about using iReal Pro for OSX for performances.

I'm hoping to start a discussion thread here regarding making performance arrangements on/for OSX. I realize that iReal Pro was originally intended to use for making chord charts for tunes for practice, but from discussions in this Forum it seems that quite a few members are gigging with iReal Pro on iPads and iPhones—and there are hints that the support guys may be considering some feature requests geared toward that use.

But in the meantime, I, for one, would sure like to see some discussion regarding topics like maximizing iReal Pro's current features for:

Making performance arrangements. (e.g., I posted recently about problems making an AABBB performance arrangement. I have had to add a 13th line (system) to make that happen.)

    Adding lyrics to charts.

Transferring charts between iReal Pro for OSX and iReal Pro for iOS7.

Tips for using iReal Pro on stage.

Making feature requests for doable and useful performance features.

(I've posted a similar new thread over on the iReal Pro for iOS7 board because I wasn't sure those guys would even see this thread and they could be equally involved with it. Maybe the administrators will want to combine them somehow, I dunno. Or perhaps the administrators might consider this topic overbroad. I don't want to start anything that will cause problems for the board in any way.)

    Thanks.

    These threads might be interesting:

(I realise you have OSX version and these were based around iOS.)

For lyrics, although difficult to add to iReal Pro charts, on a Mac you can use part of the screen to show a PDF (or similar) with the lyrics and have this app on top (left side) with iReal Pro in the background, showing the chords (and playing in the background if needed.)
