Default Fiddler on the Roof songbook.

On the "Musical" thread, I just posted backing tracks for a specific 12-song Fiddler on the Roof piano/vocal songbook currently available from Amazon. These iRP files Playback the detailed arrangements in the book as closely as I could get them within the limitations of iRP.

    Hi James,
Welcome to the forums, thank you for your post.

Here is your chart that I reformatted to more closely align it with the iRp posting conventions:

    Colors Of The Wind 1 - Menken-Schwartz

It's often easiest to start a chart with a template and then delete any unused measures.
    http://www.irealb.com/forums/showthr...5058#post15058

By using S and N in the editor (small/normal) chords can be made more readable in crowded measures. Remember, each N or S applies to all subsequent chords in the chart. When you use S to make a couple of adjacent chords fit better, please use N on the next chord to reset the rest of the chart

It's also best not to wrap a measure from one system (line) to the next.

Thanks again, we look forward to your future submissions.

    Default "The Disney Collection" songbook.

These backing tracks are for use with a specific song book "The Disney Collection" [Hal Leonard HL00311523 (1992), available from Amazon.] There are 54 piano/vocal/guitar charts, but no CD. I aimed primarily for Playback accuracy, i.e., as close as I could get Playback to play this book's actual arrangements. Please read the "Brief Notes" in the first chart. Thanks.

    Hello Nimbleswitch.
Thanks for the update (only new song from your old post is "Casey", right?).
The error message comes from the presence of a period in some chords or "invisible chord + bass note", but if you remove the period the bass note still plays, with no error.
Are the periods there for some reason I don't understand?

The period in there allows the bass note to play without the chord player's chord also playing. I use it sometimes for a "boom-cha, boom-cha"-type Intro, as in "Ballad of Davey Crockett" and "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." You do have to tap "OK" to get rid of the initial error message, though. I just like it better than using "N.C." all the time. Sounds better, too.
