    Hi,

I have a Wonderful World chart with an AABA for, I have inputted dc al 2nd ending and fine but the player simply goes back to the top of the chart. Does anyone have any ideas about what I may be doing wrong ?

    thanks in advance

For help with a chart, post it here in iRp format so we can play it with the player and open it in the editor.

To permit the DC al 2nd instruction to work as designed, all that was needed was a double-bar sign at the end of the section.

The player will return to the top, take the second ending and start the form again after the measure marked fine.

BUT, that's an awkward jump and a measure short.
The way I'd do it is with a 3rd ending like this:

    What A Wonderful World - Swing 2 - Weiss-Thiele

Always remember to include composer info and set the default key correctly.

Here's a very slow ballad version, with many chords.

    What A Wonderful World-Rev JE 2 - Weiss-Thiele

    Jerry, that's absolutely gorgeous!!!!!
If I may be so presumptuous.... Each time I listened to it, the final bar in the 1st ending cried out (to me) for a 4th beat chord. Like this:
    What A Wonderful World-Rev JE 1 - Weiss-Thiele

Although, maybe that's like adding a "where's Waldo" to the Mona Lisa...
