    I like those changes but they don't really follow the form. Part of the magic of this tune is the 14 bar A section.

    Try these (changed slightly from my earlier post):

    Very beautiful song, Joćo Gilberto version. Estate means summer in Italian, and the song is sung in Italian.

    It is definitely not 14 bars on the A part. Listen to the original on YouTube and count.

    The composer's version is 16 (or 8 depending on how you count)bars on the A section. All the others that I've listened to, chop off 2 bars at the end of the A section.
