yes. Insert beat button (bottom of web editor) will move everything along. Do this a few times obviously. You can insert a barline either left or right of any space you are in with the blue cursor with the Add button.
Also you can use the Copy and Paste buttons for your intro, if the chord sequence already exists. Paste insert can be used on beat 1 of measure 1 for instance, where it will copy your selection and simultaneously move the existing measures along.

Also from your device when playing back, you can long press from any measure to start playing from there (meaning it could be the last 8 bars from the end) which might be useful as an intro.

Not from the web editor, but there is export (send) from within iReal b to make an audio track using the settings in the Player window (bpm, chorus times, style etc.)
Do you mean Garageband on your iOS device or on your Mac computer?

You will probably notice when there is an end of section with closing repeat, double barline etc. there should be a fill.
Very slightly related to this, you can use N.C. for just drums (no chord.)

On ipad, it does not look like the midi file will import into Garageband (perhaps it will be added in an update, but should import if you have Garageband on your Mac.)

It should be possible to import midi files into Cubasis (iPad) although I have not tested this.
