Default Creating a final tag (ending)?

Hello, does anyone know if it's possible to create a final tag. Like the intro function, but in this case it is only played once after the entire song with all it's loops has completed? Thanks.

    Hello Patrick,
unless you are using a coda already, you can add the final tag as a Coda by using the Coda symbol. The player does not need to have a Coda symbol at your existing last measure as you have it now, it will assume to play the Coda the final time only (but traditionally you would presumably put one there for anyone reading off the chart.)

I have never wrapped my head exactly around this before but I normally use these charts mostly for practice so it was not critical. NOW IT IS, I am a keys/vocalist, I have a solo gig and I want to precisafy my charts EXACTLY the way I do them and use the bass & perc from Ireal in a Live setting. Ideally without exporting and dinking around with Audacity splicing and mp3 files. I already do that for tempo changes and it's a pain. Here is an example: Aint Misbehavin. I put it in my key and added my intro. FINE. Now. I want to go through the form EXACTLY four times. (so I set 4X on the counter.) The last time will have a tag & needs a different turn-around. I put this as the CODA. I played along with it and oh hallelujah on the fourth time it did the coda tag exactly right. Then OH NO!!! it did not stop it went a fifth go and might have gone more. I'm SO CLOSE. Please tell me EXACTLY what I have to change and why to make this go EXACTLY N times (where N is whatever you set in the rep counter.) and do the coda the LAST TIME and then STOP.

I can't remember how to attach Ireal Pro file so here is my attempt to include my file:

Your attempt to post a song chart/playlist was not successful.

There is a detailed tutorial inside the app in Settings/Tutorial/Sharing.
(You can also select the "?" in a circle at the top of an app page)

To post in this thread, select the chart in your app > share chord chart > Forums
(That loads the code on your clipboard)
    http://www.irealb.com/forums/showthr...6967#post26967

Then, open the forums, reply to this thread and paste (long-press) your song into the reply.

Read this about using the coda:
    http://irealpro.com/how-the-coda-sym...-in-ireal-pro/

Post your chart correctly so we can open it. Can't help if we can't see it...

Ain't Misbehavin' Bb - Fats Waller

I believe this is the recommended way to do it. Shoot all I had to do was surround it with the Frame.

See if this plays as you wish:

    Ain't Misbehavin' Bb 1 - Fats Waller

I removed the unnecessary DC al coda instruction. That's what was confusing the player.
DC (Dal Capo) returns the player to the very top....including the intro.
Be sure to review the coda guide referenced in my previous post.
By simply using the two coda-signs, the player will make the jump on only the final repeat of the form:

In AABA X4 Coda on final only.
I also made some cosmetic tweaks and added the invisible END to the last measure so the player wouldn't add an extra "ending" bar at the end.

You might enjoy checking out Jerry Englebach's reharm/arrangement here:

Thank you ever so much. That works like a champ, but FYI... my version was NOT repeating the intro. I will do all the tunes for this set as per the pattern. Are you in PDX, if so PM me and tell me about your gigs because I get up there from time to time. I have a bunch of chart mods to share but I haven't as of yet, mainly because the forms don't work quite the way I want. I think this was the last hurdle. Is there a place for ORIGINAL material (melody can be hosted elsewhere)?

Colleen, glad it worked for you.
You can share your gig-playlists in a sandbox thread.

    Original compositions are welcome.

Post in the most appropriate forum, one by one <title - composer>

When sharing original compositions, it's helpful to include a link to a sound-file or YouTube for each tune so your original chord charts have some context.
