    iReal Pro only deals with chord changes (NO MELODIES and NO LYRICS), therefore there's no infringement on copyright laws.
    Please don't post songs with lyrics (unless it's your own song) as they will be removed.
    Repeating abuses won't be tolerated and perpetuators will be banned from the forums.

    Does this also apply for instrumental pieces for which I composed lyrics?

    How can I add rhythms ( some songs chords land on upbeats within a measure ) and melodies FOR MY OWN PURPOSES only?

    A work-around has been suggested to force the player feature to play on an upbeat:
    Half-beats

    The player is not able to play melodies.

    You can add any text information you like to charts for your own use.

    You could export iRp audio or midi to an external device and add a melody track there.
