    The latest version of iRP does ignore the fermata completely. But in older versions (which I still have on my 4thGen iPod Touch) you must place the End command on the following beat for it to work.

    I see an old thread has been revived.

    I had to do this song with a singer friend a couple of months ago and worked this out, in C major.

    I made a couple of corrections based on what I've learned on this forum.

    I don't really shun the global repeats; I use them a lot for practice charts, and also to practice an entire arrangement multiple times. It's just that within one arrangement, I prefer to see the whole arrangement on the one page, like you would expect with a written-out arrangement. Of course, in jazz, almost anything goes and on the fly, too, so how often is it going to follow the chart exactly anyway? But, unhappily, I don't get to play jazz with my local group.
