    Oh wow, I missed seeing this - 😢. Of course, no mention in the national media, it seems only musicians knew about her, which is a shame. I found out about her from the Hal Wilner tribute album to Thelonious Monk, "That's the Way I Feel Now". Her arrangement & performance by her Very Big Band of "Misterioso" w/ still slays me - beautiful, crazy, melancholy & hilarious, all in one tune.
