I'm not so sure it's a great idea to compile songs in one place. It can happens that charts are being updated by users who originally posted it (to correct some errors or just to improve it). When compiled by other users, those charts cannot be edited anymore by the person who originally posted it.

Fair call. I just think it helps to gather it together for ease of use and access.
Most will check and edit it themselves.

I gathered them for my own use and thought to make it easier for others.

As they were scattered all through different genres and threads making a focus on this artist a bit difficult to find.

It would be great if these updated from the originals automatically.

I agree, it's very useful to have a dedicated thread of an artist for regrouping songs.
But what I meant is that regrouping into a playlist is not useful.
Some users might edit and correct themselves, but most won't.
I know many people that download songs from the forum when they get a request in a gig for a song they don't have in their library. They usually don't have the time to check for errors and edit the chart.

    Should I remove it?

    No.

There are many versions of songs charted.
Some are better than others (depending on who you ask)
Some are more “correct” transcriptions of specific recordings.
You can learn from each of them.
“Collections” playlists are, for the most part, helpful to some members.
Individual song discussion threads are preferred by others to meet different needs.

    Thanks for sharing

Just keep in mind that "collection" playlists that includes charts from multiple users cannot be updated. Personally, I prefer to download individual charts to make sure I get the most recent version (if it has been updated).
Some charts that I've posted have been re-posted in collection playlists and since I've updated some of those charts. But I could only update the original post not the ones from the collection

As soon as you have posted your 1st chart some will add it to their library.
Additional, updated versions won’t change that.
It’s up to each individual user to select additional versions and choose which chart(s) they want to use for themselves. Fortunately iRp provides a player which can aid in that process.

Yes, of course, it won't change anything for those who already have added the chart to their own library. I was thinking about anyone who haven't 😄
