Increase maximum tempo to 400+ bpm

I like to challenge myself with fast tempos when I practice. Could the maximum tempo be increased above 360 bpm, say to 400 or higher? Playing double time at half the tempo isn't the same feeling as the whole band playing a burning tempo.
