I can tell you that iReal pro for Mac is a separate purchase. If the Mac-Store tells you it can’t provide a version that will run on your (old) device, email: support@irealpro.com with your device info and see if they can help you.

One thing that makes iRp so useful is that it's PORTABLE. I'd look at an inexpensive 7-8” android tablet. If your phone is android, there's no additional cost for the app. For me, the smaller tablets are just the right size for gigging.
