Default Cant edit measures at the bottom of the page?

Hi there, I am editing a chart for performance and adding a section for a solo. When I do that however, I can't edit the measures at the bottom of the page. Is the chart too long if it goes below the fold? Thanks, as usual!

There's a way to sneak in a 13th system (line) but it’s tricky.

    13th System ?

See if this chart gives you any ideas.

You could squeeze in even more bars by removing/resetting the added blue down-arrow space.

ah so I think I see what you did. You created rows with 8 measures instead of the usual 4, which freed up tons of space. Now it all fits comfortably, thank you!

However, now my repeat didn't happen in the right place. I want it to go back up to the top after measure 34. So, I moved the coda mark to the 69th measure and removed the S and N notations.

It seems to play perfectly now.

I see that what you did was use 2 spaces for each measure instead of 4 (as per the help article you sent) Another trick to remember!

What do the S and N notations mean and when would i use that?
