For anyone having problems with v4.0.6 (iOS), turn off your device completely, then restart.
Also you can run a backup ... Settings>Backup; uninstall the app, then download again. (It will be free as will the in-app purchases - styles you have previously bought if you use the same iTunes account.)

To check what version you have, Settings>... find the version number there.
