    Default Estate - Bruno Martino

Very beautiful song, Joćo Gilberto version. Estate means summer in Italian, and the song is sung in Italian.

I posted this in Jazz forum, but it should be shared in this Brazilian Latin forum.

Default Estate as notated in Realbook for deep voices

No, it's 14—making it into 16 robs the melody of its suspense. Remember, the song is about how summer makes the singer feel bad about losing his girlfriend. 14 bars underscores the loss of things that could have been, not to mention making the tune more fun and interesting to play …

    Hi,
This chart is structured in this way (AAB in Bm) :
    - tempo = 115
    - intro 4 bars
    - twice the A part (2x14 bars)
    - once the B part (14 bars)
    - coda after a B part (4 bars)
I hope you'll enjoy with it.
    Christian.

    Hi Cyrille,
I like your chords (chiefly for the extensions you chose) in your chart.
On the other hand, I listened to several videos of Joao Gilberto on Youtube, he sings all the time Estate in Bm, not in Em.
    Regards.
    Christian.

    You're right, it's in B minor!
