    Default Texas-style fiddle tunes accompaniment?

I’m looking for charts to be able to accompany on tenor guitar Texas fiddle contest tunes. I know there is a type of chordal „walking bass” style that 6-string players use.

    Thanks for any help.

Howdy. There’s a bunch of fiddle tunes on the forum. I’ll dig around and post a link if I find the post I was on last week - it was loaded.

Glad to see there are others on here with similar musical interests.

Are you learning tenor guitar and of so what method/methods are you using?

Thanks. Yes, learning and pretty much self-teaching with the help of chord charts and a few pages about chord forms from the McNeill Tenor Banjo method. Jerry Thomasson was the master of this style.

This will have what you want. I worked in this book some, but it’s been a while back. My recollection is that it doesn’t match the guitar style exactly but this is the real deal for the style.
