Is this an attempt at the tune composed by Herbie Hancock?
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hgcbw8dTRGo

Is D. Cross the composer or the performing artist?
    More info please...

Since this is not a well known tune, some additional info/context would be helpful.

The same as when sharing songs of your own composition in the main song forums, please include a link to either an audio file or YouTube so your original chart will have context.
    Thanks for sharing

    Herbie's Yams is a 12-bar blues in F.

This tune is 16 bars. It starts with 8 bars in D that are almost a blues (almost, because the major 6 chords are too pretty for a blues), but those are followed by 8 bars of something else.

    Cheers,

Thanks Jer, because of the title and that my research couldn't locate a D.Cross song with that title and that the first 8 bars were similar, I wondered if it might be an attempt at transcription.
