Default Punk Jazz - Jaco Pastorius

Punk Jazz - Jaco Pastorius (Weather Report)

Note: minor 7(add11) chord types are written as sus9 over the 5th to accommodate the missing minor 7(add11) chord in the iReal pro library (ex: E-7(add11) = A9sus/E)

E-11 would accomplish the some thing.

Technically speaking, E-11 implies both a 11th and a 9th which is different than E-7(add11). However, I agree that the iReal Pro player doesn't always play the 9th in m-11 chords (it actually depends if which style is used). In this tune, some of those chords cannot include a 9th because of the flat 9th in the melody in some cases

    Hi,

You could try Gadd9/E. It includes the A but not the F#

Yes, Gadd9/E is basically the same thing as A9sus/E and both don't have an F#, so either one can be fine. I tend to prefer the way iReal pro player is voicing the A9sus/E though
