Default Misery - Louis Howard-Dinah Washington

    Hi fellow musicians---
I'm a jazz n' blues vocalist dying to perform Misery as performed by Deborah Cox; anyone have a chart? I would be over-the-moon grateful!

Sounds like a basic blues in Bb.
Try one of the jazz Blues exercises and experiment with the new Blues styles and tempo adjustment.

    Default Misery - Howard-Washington

This chart was requested by Heidi Marie and I'm glad to fulfill it.

"Misery" was released in 1950 and sung by Dinah Washington. It was written by Washington and Louis Howard. Heidi Marie referred me to the Deborah Cox version on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGNKTFEKT7s as her desired model. The song is a standard 12-bar blues with the usual R&B chord changes. It works well with the new Blues-Lucille style at 60 bpm.

Nice job, Keith--love it! I did manage a chart of my own using the input of two other local musicians, but it's not as precise, this one is fabulous.
    With deep appreciation,
    Heidi
