    Sorry, can't help you directly.

Doug Raney died last year. I know his brother, pianist Jon Raney — his quartet and my quartet shared a bass player, Ed Fuqua.

Jon might know where to get a copy of the music. His Web site is at http://www.jonraney.com.

You could also do a Google search for the members of Doug's quartet on the YouTube cut:

Musicians are often generous about sharing their work.

    Cheers,
    Jer

Thank you very much for your help.

I am a great follower of Doug Raney and I love this song.
I have not found any scores of Blues in a par in internet nor in any book.

    peperamos,

I gave you a Web address for Jon Raney, Doug's brother, and also suggested that you Google the members of the band who played the tune and contact them.

Did you follow up on my advice?

I'd be willing to bet that one or more of them has the score.

    Cheers,
    Jer

    Hello Engelbach.

Yes. But that forum seems abandoned. It has not been renewed for more than 1 year.
It also does not allow registration.
I have sent a message to Jon and I am waiting for reply

Just as a point of pride

The forum may be a "dead" but the site itself is not. There's a lot there - transcriptions, reoording, bio info on Jimmy Raney that isn't available anywhere else.

If anyone wants to start posting on the Forum again feel free. It's kind of what people make it

    Best Jon

PS - Pepe I sent you another note with a surprise..
