    I prefer shorter, not longer, chords.

    For example, I never use ∆7 when ∆ alone is sufficient.

    Same with ø and o. In jazz, adding the 7 is unnecessary, as it's implied.

    One thing I like is that in complex chords iReal Pro places the numbers one above the other instead of stringing them out, as in b9 #5.

    iReal Pro's 7alt is unnecessary, as alt alone will do. Same with -∆7, when -∆ says enough.

    I totally agree.
    I also prefer to avoid redundant chord symbols. The shorter, the better!
