Default Why is there no "to coda" text option?

    Hi,

I can't find a "to coda" text option.
    Am I missing something?

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

When you use *two* coda signs, the first one means "jump to the coda from here the final time"
The player will (on the final time) jump to the 2nd coda sign.
A lone coda sign indicates the bars following are played only once the final time. (ie. The Coda)
Using text, you can write anything....but....
The text you suggest is not recognized by the player.

    Hi Bob,

Is that a universal music notation convention, or just peculiar to this program?
I don't recall ever seeing the coda symbol used in this fashion (to mean "to coda").

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

If you wish, you can always add 'to Coda' using text but it is not in the pre-defined text menu. (You would still need to use the Coda symbol as this is what the playback engine needs to see.)
