The half-diminished symbol Ø (-7b5) is entered in the Android editor by selecting it on the chord quality screen.
When the chord entry is complete select the green check mark ✔️.

The button below the chord entry field steps through the three functions for the button to the right of the chord entry field:
    Main chord, Alternate chord, text.

For the main and alternate chords, a pencil icon is shown.
That wil step through the chord designation process:
    Root, quality, inversion (bass note)

    Bob,
Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I haven't edited in a while, so am not familiar with the new, explanded editing features -very different from the earlier screens. Is there a detailed tutorial available that illustrates the features (and how to use them) of the latest editing screen?

    Thanks again,
    Chorded (actually a "Bob" too)

To start with, read/explore everything that hides behind the "?" in a circle at the top of an app page.

I should have thought of that! However, the brief tutorial leaves out a lot. I know there is extensive information in various places on the iReal Pro site, but greater detail and a "how-to" presentation format all in one comprehensive document would be more helpful to me personally - but, probably that's just me!

In any case, its a great app and the revisions to the editing screen seem useful.
    Thanks again for the help,
    Chorded
