    Hi Deborah,

"Anyone Can Whistle" is the title song from a 1964 show with words and music by Stephen Sondheim. The show was poorly received and only ran nine performances due to an absurd story line. The title song was sung in the original production by Lee Remick.

The song itself is a simple ABAC tune with a moving lyric but uninteresting chord changes. There are several performances on Youtube, including the one by Remick and ones by Bernadette Peters and Sutton Foster. For my chord chart, I followed, for the most part, the chords in the lead sheet found in The Ultimate Broadway Fake Book published by Hal Leonard. It is a slow ballad and works well with the Ballad Swing style at 70 bpm.
