    Default 6/8 count in

Having trouble with 6/8 count in It counts in in 2/4 and ends up being too fast to play
Is the a 6 beat count in and feel for player?

Hi Tim, no real 6/8 beat...depends what you want in rhythm. You might find it easier to use 6/4. This will give you the 6 beat count and if you are finding the speed too fast, each beat will be a /4 and not /8 (8ths.) The count you are hearing is probably the first of each of three:
    ONE 2 3 FOUR 5 6

    Thanks I'll try 6/4
Could there be a 3/4 and 6/8 feel in an update?

Hi Tim, thanks for the suggestion. If you have an idea of what these rhythms could be, please let us know - presumably the 3/4 based around a quarter (crochet) notes (rather than 8ths) for instance?
We may need to work out different rhythms for odd time signatures also.
We will be adding more style packs as we develop.

As straight 3/4 waltz and a jazz waltz would be good
6/4 works for slower 6/8 time
Thanks again and I look forward to the next update/jazz pack etc

    Hi Tim,
a jazz waltz is there, with a time sig of 3/4 and Player Jazz pack, medium swing for instance, but you could use slow swing or whatever at the tempo you require. There are differences in how the player's rhythms are programmed depending on the sub-style selected.
