Works on my phone but not on my computer

Do I have to buy the app separately for each device? I have an android phone but a Mac computer. The app is working fine on my phone but when I try to open or download anything on my Mac I just get a window display of gobbledy gook that I have to hit the Esc key to make go away.

iReal pro will work perfectly on your Mac as soon as the Mac version of the app is installed on it.
Different operating systems need different app versions.
