Thread: I'd do anything for love (But I won't do that) - Meatloaf

Here's my chord chart of I would do anything for love, but I won't do that. Excuse my abbreviated lyric annotations, that's simply for space. Hope I don't make your eyes bleed.

For anyone on piano, the intro melody starts with a D/E clash alternating with A, then the top line going F#-G-F#-D-G-F# all the while alternating with A. If that's too difficult, just leave out the alternations with A. I also haven't put the descending bass on the chord chart before the first Em. It's a simple G-F#- then E(m).

Lastly, this is the structure of the radio edit. The album version has an elaborate Bat out of Hell intro, and more repeats and an extra verse, than the general audience will be used to/expecting.

Have fun! A real singalong favourite
