I just had a thought, are you using a large monitor? I have not checked what happens in that case.

Here is It's a wonderful world. I took the Doxy changes and fudged them:
    It's A Wonderful world - Johnny Watson

    It's alright with me:
It's All Right With Me - Cole Porter

I see the longer the chart in measures, the more it gets squished, which probably is the answer I am after. Wonderful world font is twice or more as big as It's alright and fills more lateral space.... like 2/3 of the whole screen when I drag the side bar. It's alright stays the same size, about 1/4 of the screen with the side bar pulled left.

So, is this a Mac thing or does this occur on all charts on hand held devices?

Ah ha, ... bingo! When I limit the size of the chart window, (1/8th of a page) all charts are sized the same. There's the answer. The portable devices have a smaller window area by default. I had my chart window size open on my Mac much more than a portable device is able too. So, short charts can be made gigantic while long charts can't expand much at all.

    Thanks,

    Doc Dosco
