    Default Custom Chord Diagrams

It's such a pity there isn't a way to add alternative fingerings to the bank of chord diagrams. Even a simple chord like D7 has only fingerings for nut, bar on fret 5, bar on fret 10, and bar on fret 12 -what about the C7 shape moved up the D root is on the A string 5th fret, the 3rd on D string 4th fret, the 7th on G string 5th and root on B string 3rd fret; it seems such an obvious fingering. But there are lots of other common fingerings for chords, surely a simple editor, either click and point or even json or xml text shouldn't be too difficult to implement.

    Perhaps the next version.

I use a lot of chord shapes not currently available. I came to the forum to see if there was a way. Thanks to your post I can stop looking. I wish there was a way to add them too.

I add my encouragement to add chord diagrams to the library, although it would need to be done such that using any of them would "define them in the song" so that they get included when sharing a song. I think this is especially important for ukulele, with just 4 strings it helps to customize fingerings a lot. Several of the most popular and great sounding inversions do not show up in standard libraries because they omit the root note, like 2020 for D7. Take a look for example at the implementation in the application "Songbook", which I use a lot.

The ability to edit a chord shape and give it a name or link it to an existing name would be very useful and, having chosen chord inversions in the play window, to have those saved with the song.

I would have welcomed this functionality. for example. gypsy chords are quite incomplete. mind if i have the ability to assign a set of chord music style

I just bought iReal Pro and it doesn't support two BASIC functions. No chords on eighth notes and no way to add/edit chord voicings. The open position CM7 isn't even in the library! I just wanted a good charting tool. Unfortunately this product is useless to me. I wasted my money. Good news it was only $20.

Another vote for the ability to customize chord diagrams.
