Thread: The Change - Lanphier

    Default The Change - Lanphier

    Hi,
    Having trouble to get this to playback correctly, but the DS/coda/repeats look okay to me.
    Three problems: goes from AABA back to B. Never goes to coda. End/fine is at the end of the 2nd ending.

    The form I want is:
    * intro (2x)
    * AABA (multiple times)
    * AABA then end of 2nd ending to coda/outro (2x)
    * Fine

    Thanks!
    (ireal v6.0.1, Mac OSX 10.9.2)

    Default

    The invisible END is used to tell the player NOT to play a written turnaround at the end the final time.
    Not needed here.
    "Fine" tells the player where the form ends.
    The final heavy ending bar at the end of B may have caused confusion. Replaced with closing double-bar.
    Changed D.S.al2 to D.S.al3.
    By adding the (duplicate) 3rd ending AFTER the DS, the player will play the full AABA the final time before jumping to coda.
    Without it, the final time will play AA coda.
    This should play:
    In, in, AABA (# of repeats per player setting) AABA coda, coda.

    Additional experimentation reveals that simply removing the first coda sign (the jump from here sign) will result in the desired player behavior.

    More info on the coda function is in the guide blog:
