Angry Cannot email pdfs of chord charts

    Hello,

I am new here. I can't get the emails of the the pdfs of the chord charts to go through to my email. The email seems to go through, but when I check my inbox there is no message. Has anyone else dealt with this?

    Thanks,
    Paul

Actually, it is quite easy to send a chord chart by email on iOS devices:
+ Open the chart you want to send. Touch the share icon (a square with a vertical arrow) on the upper right side of the screen to reveal a menu.
+ Touch "Share Chord Chart". This reveals another menu.
    + Touch "PDF."
+ A screen with a number of choices is presented. Touch the "Mail" icon.
+ Doing this opens the Mail app with a message already created with your chord chart attached. Simply type the email address of the desired recipient on the "To:" line and send the message.

That's really all there is to it! I would guess that Android devices use similar steps.

    Good luck!

    Thanks Keith,

I appreciate the response. The problem is that I have done all of that and never get an email. I am at a loss.

    Thanks all the same!

Paul, I am not sure exactly what your problem is.
Is it that you get your email but there is no PDF in there?
Or is it that you do not receive your email?

Are you sending from your iOS device to computer or just back to the same iOS device? (try both)
You will see other options—sending the song chart, or midi file or audio. Do these send and receive ok?
When you select PDF and select Mail, do you see the PDF in the email before you address and send it?
You could try sending to another email address (another email address with a different ISP).

Can you email a normal email (not using iReal Pro) from your iOS device and receive it without problems?
If so, can you attach a PDF (not using iReal Pro) and send and receive it?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am trying to understand exactly what you are trying to do.
    Thanks.

Open the default email account and check the SENT folder. Is it there?
If no, check if there's an outbox it's still pending in.
Try sending a PDF to a different email account.
