Default How to add 4 bar ending to a song

    Hi Niki,
I need your help on how to put 4 bars ending on a song. If there is another way putting an ending to a song that would be alright with me. I hope that this is not too confusing. The 3 songs I need help are: Cry Me A River, Autumn Leaves and Misty.

    Hi Tracy,
    Maybe I can help.
CODA is the musical term for "ending". It is usually written out at the bottom of the chart. Easy to do using the app's built-in editor. When you edit a "duplicate", a new chart is created in addition to the original which remains intact.
    Read about the coda here:

There are many possible endings, an easy one is the "tag" where the last phrase is repeated one or more times at the end.
This example repeats "I cried a river" 3 times at the end.

It may help you understand how the coda works if you use the player, set the tempo SLOW and carefully watch the playback position indicator during the final time as it jumps to the coda (ending).
