One bass feature I've been hoping for -- although apparently I'm alone in this -- is the ability to select bass notes from B0 to G4 with the chords. E.g.:
Amaj7/A1 /B1 /C#2 /E2
Amaj7/A2 /G#2 ...

Does this playback as you want?

Control over the actual bass line would be great. I've asked if Massimo could add the ability to designate actual bass notes from /B0 to /G4, which would cover double bass, and also bass guitar, I...
I gotta bump this one. The ability to select bass notes across the entire range of a bass, say /B0 to /G4 would be great for arrangers and whole lotta fun for bassists. It would allow for play-along...
I'm aware that we can accomplish the same sound by using two measures for every one in the actual 4/4 chart, but then the scoring doesn't match the actual book charts that have chords on the 8th...
Really like the existing Drum 2 & 4 Click Track. A Click Track on 1 & 3 also would facilitate exercises found in some method books I have.
This would facilitate lots of helpful play-along bass exercises. Be a lot of fun, too, wouldn't it, Massimo?
Bass players would enjoy having the chord player play rootless, too.
Ditto, that. I'm learning a good bit from your comments here. Thanks, guys.
Love your reharms, Jerry. You're still planning to post your complete playlist of reharms once a month or so in Sandbox, right?
Jack
Thanks, dflat. That would make Landscape usable by a performer. I don't play in public any more, but I sure would have liked using Landscape when I did for much easier reading.
Wow, did you two come through, or what? Thanks much, guys.
I especially like Dale's changes with Bob's settings, 'cept I like Acoustic Bass instead of Organ bass. (Massimo's lines sound too good...

I don't think so, dflat. As I remember it, Anticipation only made the highlight move ahead of the beat. It wouldn't help you know what chord(s) is/are in the first measure of the next line before...
dflat, I think he might be referring to just the simple scroll down. In Landscape mode, once you get to the third line, you're at the bottom of the screen - you can't see the first chord in the next...
For a week now I have had the tune "Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya" running through my head as a fairly quick bouncy jazz waltz that belies the lyrics. I can actually hear the sax improv in my head....

I can't answer this question, but here it is in English (I think) in case someone here can answer it.:
"Hello ! Can you suggest an internet link with a good harmony guitar part for SUMMERTIME?...
And, of course, you don't HAVE to have a drummer at all. Some jazz combos have only a bass player for beat, and then the bass stops along with the chords when you use the N.C. feature. That makes...
Thanks, Niki!
Sure, a "b" can sub for a "♭,"
and a "#" can sub for a " ♯ ."
They're just not quite as . . . elegant, I guess. But then, no one ever accused me of being elegant. 😏
"b" and "#" will do from now...
No response. So was the elimination of the ability to paste sharps and flats into text intentional, for some reason? Or was it just an unintended side effect of the update? Can this ability be...
Thanks, once again, Jerry. Amazing and fun to play, but I sure didn't think you'd have it ready this soon!
Jerry, I want to thank you for occasionally updating all your reharms on complete Playlists in the Sandbox. I wouldn't want to miss one. Fun to play, and even just to listen to with the melody in...
Yes, using the guitar chords works just as well, and adds the large pop-up chords. And after awhile you've memorized fingerings for all but the most exotic chords anyway.
