That's an interesting version, with the modulation from E minor. Did Miles ever record it that way?

This is basically the Kind of blue version. The E-7 going to D-7 are the chord response of the bass line. However, those chords are supposed to be rootless and high pitched, but rootless chords are not possible with IRP. So I picked the most logical root that could make sense. When playing along with the bass line, it makes more sense
