What would really be useful, now that I see what you can do with the pattens - I would LOVE a 4/4 that plays in 2 for the first and last choruses, then straight-ahead 4 for the solos/middle choruses. (Like your Latin/swing, only A is half-time feel, B is straight.)
This would be incredibly useful for all the old jazz standards, we play them that way a LOT.
