Can iReal Pro for Mac desktops import an audio track ( from iTunes or a CD ) , detect and show me the chords in a song ? This would really help learn how to play songs and the correct chords to play that song. The ready made charts you have in iReal Pro are great but i hardly have any of those songs or even heard of them by checking them out on line or at my public library.
unfortunately no. It's probably best to make a list of some simple songs you know and you want to learn then check to see if the charts are available here. Listen to the song on YouTube (etc.) You can slow down the tempo in iReal Pro to help you with learning chords.

It would be difficult to develop software that can analyse chords and show you what they are (and it would take huge processor power to do this—at least currently) all within iReal Pro.
You would probably benefit from ear training from someone who can guide you through the steps to develop your aural skills.
